About Emily Journey

Emily Journey founded Emily Journey & Associates in 2012.

She began building websites as a freelancer in 2012 and grew her company around a simple idea: organizations deserve direct access to knowledgeable people who can help them understand, improve, and manage their websites over time.

Today, her work sits at the intersection of WordPress strategy, training, AI search visibility, and responsible AI practice.

Emily is also an educator. She has spent years helping business owners, nonprofit leaders, and staff members learn how to use WordPress and related digital tools with more independence and confidence.  

Our Team

Emily Journey & Associates is a U.S.-based team of W-2 employees.

Our team brings together experience in WordPress website management, development, SEO, GEO, training, marketing coordination, and AI-related strategy. All employees hold at least a bachelor’s degree, and several have graduate-level credentials.

We are an all-women team, and that has become a meaningful part of our story. It was not built as a gimmick. It grew out of the kind of workplace we wanted to create: thoughtful, flexible, accountable, and strong.
