Project Goals

Greg was at a turning point in his business. To grow, he needed to increase revenue and scale operations, particularly by expanding his team. He wanted to:

  • Increase sales without compromising quality
  • Attract more value-aligned customers, especially veterans and first responders
  • Position Shadowbox Guru as a staple brand in the veteran and patriotic memorabilia market

While his sales were respectable for a one-man operation, Greg knew growth would demand more efficiency and visibility. After thoughtful conversations about these challenges, we moved forward with a focused and strategic growth plan.

Net Sales before working with EJ&A (July – December 2024)

Strategic Business Plan for Revenue Growth

I worked closely with Greg to implement a strategy designed to increase visibility, drive qualified traffic, and boost sales without overwhelming his production capacity. The two primary areas of focus were:

1. Google Shopping (Google Merchant Center Integration)

I ensured that all product listings were optimized to meet the evolving requirements of Google Shopping. Once submitted through the Merchant Center, his products gained broader exposure to high-intent shoppers searching for terms like “veteran shadow box” and “flag display case.”

The results were swift and substantial, particularly for his 12×24 Shadowbox 3×5 Center Flag Frame, which experienced a 250% increase in sales within one month of being listed.

2. SEO Blog Content for Authority Building

Understanding the importance of demonstrating expertise in the age of AI-generated content, I authored two SEO-optimized blog posts tailored to Greg’s niche:

  • A deep dive into the craftsmanship behind building custom military shadow boxes
  • A guide for customers on how to choose and design a meaningful display case

These posts improved Shadowbox Guru’s visibility in organic search and positioned Greg as a trusted expert in the veteran and military community.

These strategies laid the foundation for the measurable growth seen in early 2025—and were tailored to preserve the values and craftsmanship that define Greg’s brand.

After implementing the strategic business plan, we saw significant growth in Net Sales and Orders from January to June 2025 compared to the previous period.
