We’re looking for contributors to share their smart ideas. A good guest post can come from anyone, so we’re not as picky about who you are as we are about what you have to say. Here are three types of contributions we really love:
- How to up your SEO game when it comes to getting noticed on the web.
- Measuring success with great websites, designs, or blogs.
- Your social media expertise and what you’ve found works.
If you’ve got a post you’d like to share, submit it HERE for approval.
Or read on to learn more about our guest posting guidelines and what we hope to see from you.
Guidelines for contributors
The audience for our blog is primarily people who are looking for ways to improve their websites, social media presence or overall web presence. More than anything, we want to help them out, inspire them, and educate them. If you submit an article that’s helpful, inspiring, or informal in its own right, you’re probably going to get published!
Fine print and FAQs
It’s not a sales pitch. We’ll only publish content that’s helpful, valuable, right for our audience, and not overtly promotional.
Original content only. We will only publish original work that you own the rights to. No reposting, scraping, or other sketchiness.
Don’t worry about length. The right length is however long it takes you to share something interesting and valuable. We find this is typically somewhere between 450 and 2000 words.
Editing work. We may edit your piece for clarity or brevity, but most likely only to fix a typo, beef up a headline, or add a few links or images.
Ownership. When you contribute a guest post, you give us an exclusive, but revokable, right to publish your submission in any form. You also promise that any content you share is yours to share. We will remove your article within 30 days at your written request.
So what are you waiting for? Start posting!
