I started building websites in 2006 with no idea what SEO even meant. I just knew I loved taking a concept and making it appear digitally in the form of a website. Years later, I discovered that SEO wasn’t just technical; it was a way to help people find what they’re looking for. I have a background in Spanish Linguistics that allowed me to see SEO as a language to learn. Now I lead SEO Training and Strategy for clients across industries. One of my deepest passions is helping businesses and organizations get found online.

Social media training for business teaches your team to run the company’s accounts. The training package is: one 3-hour session customized to your platforms and goals, plus a follow-up session, and 30 days of support, at $1,497 per person.

The real business decision isn’t which course to take; it’s whether your team should learn to run the accounts or someone should run them for you, and the deciding factor is usually staff time, not skill.

This page helps you make that decision. For details about the full training package, team options, and training FAQs, start with the social media training page.

What business social media training covers

Your instructor works with you inside your organization’s own accounts, most often LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, on whatever your business needs: profile improvements, content that fits your industry, and the judgment calls most employees were never taught. Those calls matter, because what your people post reflects on your organization whether anyone planned it that way or not.

Training is available one-on-one or for your team, in person or over Zoom, and it’s built for established businesses and nonprofit staff, not influencers. The package details are on the social media training page.

Extremely helpful

“Last week’s social media training was outstanding. Not only did you educate Lisa and me about opportunities to enhance our Facebook and LinkedIn pages, you presented the information in a way that was easy to understand and didn’t feel overwhelming. We were able to cover so much elements of these platforms during the session because you had taken time prior to the training to familiarize yourself with our organization and our social media practices. And the follow-up tutorials have been extremely helpful. We looking forward to connecting with you again during the 30-day follow-up period as we implement our learnings.”

Great communication

“In the past few years we have used Emily’s team for our social media needs at the Hickory House Restaurant in Gahanna, Ohio. Their work is impeccable. They are quick to respond to our needs and requests. The most valuable part of their efforts are their communication as far as promotion, review response, and providing analytical data for us to review.”

Learn it or have it handled

We offer both, so the only question is which one fits you:

Your team learns it. Social media training puts the skill in-house. Choose this when someone on staff has the hours each week to use it; the skill only pays off if someone has time to apply it.

We handle it. Social media management means our Social Media Manager plans, creates, and posts for you, from $1,497 per month. Choose this when nobody on staff has the time, because consistency is the whole game.

Organizations move between these in both directions: training clients who discover nobody has time to post, and management clients who eventually want the capability in-house. If you're not sure, tell us about your situation and we'll tell you which one fits, including the answer that makes us less money.

Frequently asked questions about business social media training

Who is business social media training best for?

Established businesses and nonprofits whose staff will use the accounts: owners with customers on social media and the marketing or administrative staff responsible for the company's presence. If nobody will post after social media training, choose social media management instead.

Is business training different from your regular social media training?

No. It's the same private, customized training; "business" is simply what it's for. Every training we deliver is built around an organization's accounts and goals rather than a generic curriculum.

How much does it cost to learn social media for my business?

Training is $1,497 per person, which includes the 3-hour private session, a follow-up session, and 30 days of instructor support. If you'd rather have the accounts handled, management subscriptions start at $1,497 per month.
